Blue Durango Iced Tea has existed in the restaurant landscape for the last two decades as a premium, fresh-brewed, on-premise iced tea. Iced tea was a logical addition to our Lakehouse Coffee that chefs were already purchasing. When we started, if we sold 5 cases of iced tea in a week we let out a roar. We now applaud every customer that orders weekly. Through the years we have encountered several historic national economic setbacks, yet not one of those occurrences has changed the cult-like following of Blue Durango Iced Tea.

We are fortunate to regularly add new wholesale customers while we continue evolving our brand identity as we became known as the “go-to” iced tea for discerning chefs. As our volume grew so did our need to control the packaging of Blue Durango Iced Tea. Our blend was created with the help of a “cagey old Brit” who also packaged our tea. Within a short period of time, we purchased his packaging operation. Little did we know that the creation of a side project would land us in the tea packing business.

Blue Durango Iced Tea is brewed in small independent restaurants throughout the Southeast as well as in larger restaurant groups around the country. Aside from the case sales and accolades we are receiving from our immediate clients, we started getting multiple calls per week from their customers raving about Blue Durango Iced Tea. These calls literally ranged from “this is the BEST iced tea I’ve ever had” to “what do you guys put in your iced tea to make it taste different than any other tea I’ve ever had.” Although we’ve been around now for several years, and as stated, enjoyed some success, we finally realized we had something special when requests for home brewing became a regular occurrence.

We initially created an 8 ct. retail pack that allowed the home brewer a way to brew 88 oz. of Blue Durango Iced Tea with the same distinct color and taste they were used to at their favorite restaurant. The packaging and convenience of this product continued our brand awareness, yet only through our website and word of mouth. Our next retail addition was the creation of the Blue Durango Ice Tea single-serve pod. There is no product on the market like our pod. We worked for quite a while on this product to ensure the drinker was again getting the same color, smell, and taste as our large batch brew from the restaurants. We think we nailed it!

The next logical evolution was to give our customers a way to drink Blue Durango Iced Teas on the move. Hopefully, that’s why you're here and now we introduce to you our brewed teas in a 16 oz. can.
