This “Town” is powered by steam and ingenuity.

We’ll transport you to a fictional town brimming with quirky characters, each with a unique personality that matches their one-of-a-kind flavor. You’ll get a story, an attitude, and a feeling. It’s more than just sipping iced tea; you are stepping into a world you never imagined from your refrigerator. The town of Blue Durango has a hero, a trusty guide, and a whole cast of mischief-makers and dreamers, all inviting you to join the township.
Steep into our Victorian elegance meets rugged frontier. Experience how these early 1900s Englanders find themselves on the dusty trails of the Wild West. Drawing on their industrial skills and inspired by their growing desire for creature comforts, these strangers fortified a town by blending the mechanical marvels from their old life with the rugged spirit of the West. A full-blown Western Steampunk vibe!
One by one, they left the bustling city life behind only to arrive in the town known as — Blue Durango. The town of Blue Durango quickly grew into a unique haven for dreamers, inventors, and adventurers. The town thrived on its unique blend of advanced technology and traditional frontier values— pushing creative boundaries and refusing to blend into the ordinary.
Just like any lively town, Blue Durango is constantly evolving. Every new character that rides into town brings with them an exciting new flavor. Whether you crave a refreshing kick of lemon or the smooth tartness of hibiscus, there’s always something new brewing in this frontier town. Because in our world, creativity knows no bounds, and neither does the iced tea.

Franklin is infectiously optimistic and exudes enthusiasm - traits that define his approach to life. He's the namesake of our brand and proudly rides his penny farthing - a high-wheeled bicycle that symbolizes his unique blend of old-world charm and modern ingenuity.

Franklin Pendleton, with no intention of staying longer than necessary to sell his handcrafted iced teas, brew and bottle another batch, and move on, found himself unexpectedly drawn to the people of Blue Durango. So captivated was Franklin that time enough passed that the iced tea he bottled became renowned and known as “Blue Durango Iced Tea.”
 
Franklin’s infectious optimism and exuberant spirit define his approach to life. His energy is contagious, drawing others into his orbit with promises of adventure and discovery. Despite the challenges of introducing tea culture to a frontier town, Franklin remained steadfast in his mission.
 
Instead of a traditional horse, Franklin navigates the streets of Blue Durango on a penny-farthing — a high-wheeled bicycle that symbolizes his unique blend of old-world charm and modern ingenuity.
 
Upon arriving in Blue Durango, Franklin encountered skepticism about tea’s appeal in a town more accustomed to whiskey and ale. However, his perseverance and ability to connect with the residents gradually won over the skeptics, establishing him as a beloved figure in the community. His journey is one of self-discovery and connection, as he finds purpose in enriching the lives of others through the art of tea blending.
 
Franklin “The Tea Merchant” Pendleton embodies the spirit of innovation, resilience, and community building in Blue Durango. His journey from a London tea merchant to a frontier entrepreneur reflects themes of cultural adaptation, personal growth, and the transformative power of creativity and passion.

Jasper "Doc" Wilder

"Doc" Wilder is the town pharmacist, doctor, rounder, and maker of potions and elixirs. Because of his quick wit and sharp intellect, "Doc" quickly becomes Franklin's guide through our brand's story, which is to the benefit of us all.

Jasper "Doc" Wilder

Jasper “Doc” Wilder the town’s pharmacist, doctor, rounder, and maker of potions is quite the dapper figure. Despite not needing one, “Doc” is always seen carrying a cane adorned with a carved ivory head of an elephant with an upright trunk. You can see shimmers of silver from a watch chain attached to a button on his vest as it droops, crossing his belly dropping into an opposite pocket. Interestingly, “Doc” is known for his tardiness and it’s no wonder— there is no watch on his chain. His talent shines when someone asks him for the time. After twisting their simple request, he cleverly charges them for his time. You’ll also see “Doc” wearing a variety of hats, but he currently favors his straw hat with a flat brim and a multi-colored ribbon.
 
Since his arrival in the West, “Doc’s” hair has gotten longer as he has allowed himself to relax and enjoy life. Such a stark contrast to his childhood as the child prodigy of Dr. Samuel Hecken, a renowned Virginia professor known for his immaculate dress, swift wit, keenest-of-eye, sharpest-of-mind, and greenest-of-thumb. Dr. Hecken’s extensive collection of free-grown botanicals drew people from miles away for both medical attention and admiration.
 
After his mentor and father figure passed away, Jasper “Doc” Wilder, a not-so-young man, left his home in Virginia and embarked on a journey to the West, where he let his clean-shaven face grow an impressive bushy mustache. With his style and facial hair, Jasper Wilder would easily slip into his role in Blue Durango.
 
Shortly after the arrival of the wandering tea merchant, Doc would end up becoming Franklin’s guide through our brand’s story, fortunately to the benefit of us all. In time, “Doc” would use what he had learned from his teacher, and a new-found understanding he would gain from “the Tea Merchant”, “Doc” would go on to craft his signature elixir— Charmed Voodoo.

Luna Blossom

She's not only smart, savvy, and attractive, but she commands the room with the swiftest of ease. Luna Blossom became the madam at the Brass Spur Saloon, eventually becoming its proprietor when the original owner encountered what was deemed a mysterious passing. She adds a strong female touch to our cast of characters.

Luna Blossom is not only smart, savvy, and attractive, but she commands the room with effortless grace. Since a young age, Ms. Luna Blossom attended a strict boarding school in London. That is until…a reputation either chases you or defines you, and a stigma is hard to shake. Determined to prove them wrong, Luna Blossom packed her belongings and embarked on a journey across the ocean, carrying her unwavering confidence.
 
Her ahead-of-her-time appearance, with her striking looks, elegant dress, and confident demeanor, combined with a touch of wanderlust, propelled her towards the only place she felt couldn’t contain her insatiable thirst for adventure and creativity—the American West. Luna Blossom, dismissing the limitations of age, found herself in the town of Blue Durango, where her papers conveniently went missing. Like her soon-to-be confidant, “Doc” Wilder, she too could dance with words.
 
In a world where women were scarcely given opportunities to earn a living, Luna Blossom quickly learned and found employment at one of the few establishments that offered women a chance to make money. After a relatively short period of time, Luna Blossom was known as the madam of “The Brass Spur Saloon.” Now, it is the Wild West, but a report circulated that the original proprietor Ol’ Thaddeus Sullivan died from a freak dishwashing accident. That left Luna Blossom, next in line saloon proprietor.
 
Luna Blossom has a soft heart that is protected by a sharp tongue. She is respected and revered, and “The Brass Spur Saloon” is known for rabble-rousing and exceptional music. Yet it is her house-made white tea with honeysuckle, white grape, and lavender that truly draws the crowds. Once you’ve tried it, you’ll fall under its spell.

Lloyd is a loner by nature, preferring to keep to himself. His mysterious past and reluctance to share personal details make him an enigmatic figure in Blue Durango. He will hold his ground and not back down - a real western sidewinder.

Lloyd, a loner by nature, resides on the outskirts of town and has no problem mixing it up with anyone. He’s not a troublemaker, but definitely spicy and has a bite. He is a fierce fighter that will not back down sometimes to his own detriment. Although a stranger in a strange land, he is - a real western sidewinder. His dubious past and reluctance to share personal details make him an enigmatic figure in Blue Durango.
 
Over time, his resourcefulness and willingness to help in tough situations have earned him a place in the community, despite his solitary nature. His presence adds an element of danger and unpredictability to the town’s dynamic. A rugged, muscular man with a stringent face that carries a scar across his left cheek, Lloyd’s dark, unkempt hair and thick beard further contribute to his rugged appearance.
 
Following a dangerous altercation that left him scarred - physically and emotionally, Lloyd decided to leave his vicious past behind and seek a fresh start in the American West. The town of Blue Durango offered a remote frontier where he could start anew and try to avoid his past.
 
Surprisingly, Lloyd forms an alliance with Franklin “the tea merchant” Pendleton and “Doc” Wilder. Although initially wary of them, he eventually comes to respect their determination and unique skills. Lloyd is fiercely loyal to those he trusts and considers friends, and to that the Sidewinder has become a part of the town of Blue Durango.

Sheriff Nathaniel "Nate" Hollister

Nathaniel Hollister cuts an imposing figure in Blue Durango, standing tall with a broad-shouldered, muscular build typical of a seasoned lawman. The Sheriff of Blue Durango is a strategic thinker with a keen ability of anticipating potential conflicts before they escalate. Between his experienced insight and the calm in his voice Nathaniel keeps Blue Durango a respectable town.

His weathered face etched with the marks of years spent walking the soot-covered streets of London. “Nate” Hollister’s deep-set eyes gleam with a sharp intelligence and unwavering determination.
 
Hollister’s attire blends traditional Old West sheriff’s garb with subtle steampunk influences. He wears a long duster coat over a vest and shirt, sturdy leather boots, and trousers adorned with brass buckles and accents. His sheriff’s badge is a prominent steampunk creation, intricately designed with gears and mechanical motifs, adding to his authoritative presence.
 
The Sheriff of Blue Durango is a strategic thinker with a knack for anticipating potential conflicts before they escalate. Hollister maintains the respectability of Blue Durango through his experienced insight and the calmness in his voice. Like all the men in the town of Blue Durango, Sheriff Hollister dons a tall stovepipe top hat, further enhancing his authoritative aura.
 
“Nate” Hollister’s lineage is steeped in law enforcement. Before becoming sheriff of Blue Durango, he served with distinction in the military during World War I, honing his leadership skills and combat prowess. After the war, Nathanial sought a quieter life. He left England on a journey that would land him in the dusty town of Blue Durango. The soon-to-be sheriff became captivated by the rugged frontier charm, and the opportunity to make a difference in a burgeoning community.
 
And, you can’t be a sheriff without deputies, so Sheriff Hollister also serves as a mentor to his sidekicks, Virgil and Cassidy, and together they run the town with pride and the “long arm of the law.”

His neatly combed gray hair and aging yet observant eyes, often carry a tinge of nostalgia that easily captivate the saloon patrons and beyond. As the saloon’s pianist, “Zeke’s” distinctive, storytelling style of play allows the town folks to live their lives through music. Often creating emotions and memories; therefore, making Mr. Turner an integral part of the town of Blue Durango’s cultural fabric.
 
Beyond his musical prowess, Zeke serves as the town’s narrator, generating tales that bring the history and colorful inhabitants of the town of Blue Durango to life. He is the eyes of the saloon, and he is the ears of the saloon. Yet “Zeke” is not the mouth of the saloon. That is his super power.
